Here you will find important information about the vocations.

All vocations in Elderan are able to create runes with something that is called spirit points.
It is a new magical resource that is indepedant from your normal mana. It regenerates with the same speed as your mana. This means you can create runes while hunting because spirit points are not effected by your normal spells. Just as before all normal spells will consume your mana points, while anything that can be created like runes and ammunition is consuming spirit.

Knight

Knights are the melee class in Elderan. They use close combat to face their enemies. No one is better with Swords, Axes or Clubs. It is extremely easy for them to advance their skill in this categories. You can pick between One-Handed and Two-Handed Weapons. Two-Handed Weapons are really strong in Elderan and have a higher attack value than normally. When Knights are using runes the damage will depend on your highest melee skill. A Heavy Magic Missile Rune for example will deal physical damage and not use your magic level as formula but your melee skill. They will get strong offensive spells later. In Elderan Knights are able to create almost all runes but slower as druids or sorcerers. This includes Heavy Magic Missiles, Ultimate Healing Runes and Explosion Runes. They can be promoted to Elite Knights for 25.000 gold coins and be promoted to Noble Knights for 250.000 gold coins.

Paladin

Paladins are the distance class in Elderan. They are using throwing weapons such as spears. Their main weapons are bow and crossbow. While bow and arrows are dealing more average hits and are more affordable, they also have really strong and dangerous ammunition called 'Divine Bolts' which are used with crossbows but are rather expensive. Like every vocation, Paladins are able to use runes but instead of scaling with your magic level, the rune damage will depend on your distance skill. As example Heavy Magic Missiles or Explosion Runes will deal Holy Damage. Just as Knights, Paladins are able to create almost every rune. This includes Heavy Magic Missiles, Ultimate Healing Runes and Explosion Runes. They can be promoted to Royal Paladin for 25.000 gold coins and be promoted to Runic Paladin for 250.000 gold coins.

Druid

Druid are strong magic casters. They can use magic wands which deal damage with auto attacks from distance. Ammunition for these wands are magic fragments, which can be obtained when creating runes of any type. They are strong healers and are the only class which can heal other characters or themself way cheaper than normally. Unlike the sorcerer they don't have many offensive spells but therefore they deal 2% more damage with runes as Elder Druid and 5% more damage with runes as Ancient Druid. They are the only vocation which can create Freeze Missile Runes and Winterstorm Runes which deal a lot of Ice damage over time. They can be promoted to Elder Druid for 25.000 gold coins and be promoted to Ancient Druid for 250.000 gold coins.

Sorcerer

Sorcerers are extremely strong magic casters. Just as the druid they can use magic wands which deal damage with auto attacks from distance. Ammunition for these wands are magic fragments, which can be obtained when creating runes of any type. Sorcerers are the most deadly class in Elderan. They have extremely strong offensive spells like Ultimate Explosion or Death Wave. They are the only vocation which can create Sudden Death Runes. Mystical Sorcerer can even create Twinkiller Runes which are even slightly stronger then Sudden Death Runes. They can be promoted to Master Sorcerer for 25.000 gold coins and be promoted to Mystical Sorcerer for 250.000 gold coins.
